Friday Routines - 5/1 - Lemons or Limes?

Uhm...ahh...well.... I can’t really believe this.  Anyone who knows me knows that I am a horrible gardener.  I can’t grow a thing.  I had empty flowerbeds in my garden for a year and finally decided to turf them now at least there is green grass rather than brown dirt. 

So, due to no fault of my own...there are flowers on one of my left for dead citrus trees. I was SHOCKED.  I don’t mean just one or two there are like forty...that could translate into a crate of lemons or limes in a months time or so.  The only slight problem is that I’m not sure if it’s the Myer lemon tree or just the lime one that’s producing beaucoup flowers but I don’t care.  I’m thrilled it’s a live!  Funny what a little water and some sun can do.  Ya gotta love that photosynthesis stuff.

Off to Bluffton to see what Jeff at Scott’s Meat has and then to Piggly Wiggly in Coligny for some of the last of the seasons Soft Shell Crabs!  I'll have that little recipe posted over the weekend.
