Chocolate Muffins – the Sunday morning star

And it was even easier this morning. I cheated (I'm starting to have huge pangs of guilt as I write this) I used a mix (ugh...I did, I did, I really did). Yes, but it was a good one (feeling a bit better) if I’m going to cheat (hate that word cheat) I’m going to do it with the best around (here...in Hilton Head) and that would be Ghiradelli (in my opinion). My mix of choice and I love their chocolate pieces too.
I’ll have a house full for Sunday “Linner” (late lunch + early dinner = linner) today. Soph, Luke, a friend of Soph’s, Mom and me. Sophie’s menu request? Roasted chicken, rice, gravy, roasted carrots and onions and I’ll throw something green in there. For dessert it’s a crowd favorite from Bon Appetit earlier this year; the Chocolate Pudding Pie (Jan 2008) it really is delish! I love Sundays!
